Abalone Picnic and Potluck!

If you've been wanting to try abalone diving but don't know anyone to help you get started, then join us at the Salt Point State Park for a day of Ab diving, guidance, tips, and an abalone picnic! Our most experienced instructors and divers will be on hand to offer tips and show you the ropes of freediving, as well as how to clean and cook your catch! This is a potluck, so bring a dish or something to BBQ and take part in the abalone feast that afternoon!

Divers and Non-Divers alike are welcome to come out and enjoy the day!

Place:  South Gerstle Cove, Salt Point State Park
Time:   Meeting at 9 am, picnic starts about 1pm
Cost:    Free!! Just bring a dish or something to BBQ!
(the $8 CA State Park day-use fee is not included)

Full rental gear is available, come in the store to be outfitted today! Fishing License, Abalone Punch Card, and proper equipment are required.
